About

I became a professional artist after graduating from the University of Creative Arts, Farnham, Surrey, with a First Class Fine Art BA (Hons) degree in 2004.

I was commissioned to paint two large paintings for the Surrey Borders NHS Trust. The paintings, one of which measures 11 x 4.5ft and the other 6 x 4.5ft, are installed in the patients' day room and dining room at Farnham Road Hospital, Guildford, Surrey.

My University degree show pieces were two ink and glitter continuous drawings, each measuring a whopping 9x1.5m (30x5ft), and called Roll Over and Roll OnIt was here that I developed my lineism techniques.

After my commissions for the hospital, Legal & General and the Guildford Borough Council sponsored me to hold a drawing competition in an empty store near Guildford High Street.  To attract people in, I provide a long length of paper to the wall, supplied pens and my kitchen table and opened the doors.  The Doodle Wall was an instant success. Even though it is now 2012, I plan to develop the Doodle Walls.

Before studying for my degree in England, I lived with my family in Canada for twenty years, where I worked in the film and television industries.

I started as an extra, then make up artist, script writer, story editor and finally writer and producer of my own short films which were aired several times by the Canadian Broadcasting Company.  My biggest claim to fame was when an hour long horror script I wrote for a Paramount Television series was directed by famed director David Cronenberg.
