The Doodle Wall Project

7,259 people visited the event in 66 half days. Some came to see the art and some to draw.

Visitors discovered their own  creativity; for all it was an exciting and  companionable activity.

The quality of the work was impressive - drawings and doodles went from colourful squiggles to minor masterpieces.

The finished Doodle Walls were displayed in long curves of paper standing on edge, as shown here with three young doodlers and the girl in red.   

This art project was launched with a drawing competition, supported by the Campaign for Drawing and The Royal Academy of Engineering.
